According to S. Harutyunyan, sister of Shant Harutyunyan, the latter was released from “Vardashen” CEI on 13 May, 2009. S. Harutyunyan was accused of the case of March 1.
Pursuant to experts’ conclusion “Shant Harutyunyan was incapable at the moment of committing crime”.
Therefore, the criminal case against S. Harutyunyan was discontinued.
According to the judge’s decision S. Harutyunyan was in a mental hospital for rather a long time. He had been taken there forcibly in order to undergo forensic-medical examination.
